Pope’s Yard Brewery’s mission is to produce beautifully handcrafted ales using some traditional and some more avant-garde ingredients and processes. All our beers are natural, unfiltered and bottle-conditioned.
Our desire has always been to experiment and to play. If that’s adding unusual ingredients such as mugwort, yarrow and lapsang souchong tea, resurrecting long-forgotten beer recipes, using unorthodox yeast strains or ageing our beer on wood, our aim is to create something truly special.
Pope’s Yard brews are sometimes rather wild and experimental but most of all we hope you think they all taste pretty good.
